Custom Apparel Printing: Different types of Print!

Our clients always ask us how we print their apparel and what custom printing techniques we use. Here at Click&Shirts, we use all techniques, and in-house so quality is guaranteed.

DTG (Direct to Garment)

Just like printing from your computer printer to paper, DTG (direct to garment printing) applies ink directly onto the shirt using inkjet technology. The sustainable, water-based ink is then absorbed into the garment, leaving you with vibrant precise colors and an ultra smooth finish. It is perfect for small quantity custom t-shirts.

Vinyl/Heat Transfer

With vinyl print, your custom image is printed onto specialized paper, applied to the garment, and after a short bake in the heat press machine it is perfectly imprinted! Vinyl is a very popular option for custom sportswear and one color designs.

Screen Print

Using screens, ink, and a little bit of creativity, screen print is a great option for your larger quantity custom apparel orders. This type of custom print is very durable and will always leave you satisfied.

Screen Print

Sublimation printing involves specialized inks on 100% white polyester fabric to create exact reproductions of images all over your garment! This is very popular for custom jerseys, custom sportswear, and custom athletic apparel.

Last but not least, we do custom embroidery! This technique gives garments a higher perceived value and works particularly well on heavier weight garments such as fleece or polos. Embroidery is very popular for custom corporatewear, custom workwear, custom caps, or custom beanies.
